The Woodstock Music and Art Fair was a historic event held at Max Yasgur's 600 acre dairy farm in the rural town of Bethel, New York from August 15 to August 18, 1969.To many, the festival exemplified the counterculture of the 1960s and the 'hippie era'. Thirty-two of the best-known musicians of the day appeared during the sometimes rainy weekend. Although attempts have been made over the years to recreate the festival, the original event has proven to be unique and legendary. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest moments in music history and was listed on Rolling Stone's 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll.The event was captured in a successful 1970 documentary, Woodstock (subtitled '3 Days of Peace & Music'), directed by Michael Wadleigh.Part 9.Sunday, August 17 to Monday, August 18. English rock/blues singer Joe Cocker was the first act on the last officially booked day; he opened up the day's events at 2PM. His set was preceded by at least two unidentified instrumentals by The Grease Band. Cocker's last song was a cover of 'With a Little Help from My Friends' by The Beatles from their 1967 album Sgt. Japan's fascination with figure skating has amazed me for some time. In my blog I once mentioned their enthusiasm for Flamenco. Iceskating is another national pride they have been investing in. Prominent athletes have been enjoying a high social status. Surely, advertisements seem to go well with these national heroes and heroines.Tokyo is now hosting the World Iceskating Championship. Thousands of people flock to the indoor ice stadium to watch several young skaters from some four season countries. Teens would throw roses and Teddy Bears after each perfomance. The whole country is suddenly warmer in the remaining wintry season as each skater slides on the thick ice layer accompanied by the best of world musical compositions.Takahashi Daisuke is one of Japan's treasures. Dubbed as the Prince of Japan, he won the silver medal two days ago (March 24)in the prestigious event. Like a true Samurai, he pushed his rank up from fifth to second next to a French skater (You can see in the clip the audience cyring as Takahashi, now emotional himself, finished his memorable perfomance). More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged.In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 5.0(The characters and locations are there, but after that the situations become stretched and barely resembling what was seen in the movie. The cutscenes tie it all together but if it weren't for that you would have no idea how it relates to the film due to what we are doing for most of the game.)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie's 1.0(As is often the case in recent movie adaptations, the music is generic and not based off of the movies soundtrack. I don't think it matters too much but it may have added something that just was lacking in this game for the most part)Game Difficulty 4.5(The game is way too easy. Click and point with a search button that finds everything for you easily. The bosses are a joke as are the levels which are all the same thing done slightly different. There is very little challenge found here.)Overall Fun 3.0(The game gets boring and old fast. After two or three levels you will get the idea of what the game has to offer and its more of the same for the rest of the way through. The game ends too quickly and you don't feel like it's the movie or book jumping out at you at any point. Probably won't be replaying this too much after its completed.)Final Score: 4.25Below Average
