READ METhis is a very short scene from a film I worked on in mid 2005 called Buchenwald.Buchenwald was a German concentration camp known for some of the worst and most bizarre crimes committed during the dark years of the holocaust. The movie is about a prisoner who has been in the camp for one week, who spends a night without sleep to talk to a prisoner who has been in the camp for a year. They exchange stories about life before Buchenwald while the movie flashes back and shows their stories. Through the stories we see how alike one mans week is to one mans year. This short scene from Buchenwald isn't a story or flashback; it is the imagination of the man who has been imprisoned for a full year. He was once a musician but is now forgetting what music even sounds like.Played by my good friend Markandeya who is a wonderfully talented pianist and guitarist.
