Incredible video of the Late Great Hank Williams and His Son Bocephus (Hank Jr) A few years ago Hank was given this song in his Dad's folders, a song that was still in a demo stage. Hank liked it and mixed alittle of his style with his Dads and helped in producing this magical, award winning video!!!According to Wikpedia:"There's a Tear in My Beer", a duet with his father created using electronic dubbing techniques. The song itself was written by his father, presumably, sometime between 1950 and 1953 and was recorded with Hank Williams playing just his guitar. The music video for the song combined existing television footage of Hank Williams performing and the dubbing techniques transferred the image of Hank Jr. onto the screen, so it appeared as if he were actually playing with his father. The video was an overwhelming success, both critically and commercially. It was named Video Of The Year by both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country music. From the very moment I heard on that hot August day in 1977 that Elvis was dead I have had an idea in my head to pay tribute to his many achievements.Elvis was so much more that a singer, he was a living Legend.Elvis: He dreamed, and he achieved!!! Sun Studios, Memphis 1954,Elvis Presley n Johnny Cash meet in this small studio at the same time, and Both become Legends!!!Elvis Presley is the primary focus, yet I had to include Johnny as I find it amazing that these two showed up at the same place, same time...Johnny overcame his addictions,BUT as he pointed out many times, only the love of June Carter Cash and her determination to see him thru, saved him from drugs. I wish Elvis could have had the same Rock in his life. One friend said something that was food for thought-Could you ever imagine an old Elvis??? I know Elvis thought of it a lot and the drugs were clouding his judgment.
