It is widely regarded as one of the greatest moments in music history and was listed on Rolling Stone's 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll.The event was captured in a successful 1970 documentary, Woodstock (subtitled '3 Days of Peace & Music'), directed by Michael Wadleigh.Part 9.Sunday, August 17 to Monday, August 18. English rock/blues singer Joe Cocker was the first act on the last officially booked day; he opened up the day's events at 2PM. His set was preceded by at least two unidentified instrumentals by The Grease Band. Cocker's last song was a cover of 'With a Little Help from My Friends' by The Beatles from their 1967 album Sgt.
