Movies to Video Games ReviewsReview #14Lemony Snicket's: A Series of Unfortunate Events for the Personal Computer (PC) is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 5.0(The characters and locations are there, but after that the situations become stretched and barely resembling what was seen in the movie. The cutscenes tie it all together but if it weren't for that you would have no idea how it relates to the film due to what we are doing for most of the game.)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie's 1.0(As is often the case in recent movie adaptations, the music is generic and not based off of the movies soundtrack. I don't think it matters too much but it may have added something that just was lacking in this game for the most part)Game Difficulty 4.5(The game is way too easy. Click and point with a search button that finds everything for you easily. The bosses are a joke as are the levels which are all the same thing done slightly different. There is very little challenge found here.)Overall Fun 3.0(The game gets boring and old fast. After two or three levels you will get the idea of what the game has to offer and its more of the same for the rest of the way through. The game ends too quickly and you don't feel like it's the movie or book jumping out at you at any point. Probably won't be replaying this too much after its completed.)Final Score: 4.25Below Average

Audiopad is a composition and performance instrument for electronic music which tracks the positions of objects on a tabletop surface and converts their motion into music. One can pull sounds from a giant set of samples, juxtapose archived recordings against warm synthetic melodies, cut between drum loops to create new beats, and apply digital processing all at the same time on the same table. Audiopad not only allows for spontaneous reinterpretation of musical compositions, but also creates a visual and tactile dialogue between itself, the performer, and the audience.Audiopad has a matrix of antenna elements which track the positions of electronically tagged objects on a tabletop surface. Software translates the position information into music and graphical feedback on the tabletop. Each object represents either a musical track or a microphone.Audiopad was developed by James Patten and Ben Recht aka localfields.
